We offer many family-friendly concerts at the PSO that are perfect for kids and their families. Most concerts are suited for kids 5 and up. Unsure if a concert is a good fit for your family? Give us a call!
-
PCPA has disabled parking next to the building and a large lot across the street. You can also drop someone off right near the door.
-
If you bring electronic devices that make noise, set them to silent or turn them off during the performance. (And if you turn the sounds back on during intermission, remember to change them back for the second half!). Please do not bring your own food. A water bottle is ok.
-
These things can happen to anyone: sometimes you have a coughing fit, sometimes you need to use the restroom, or sometimes you just get overwhelmed.
Whatever the reason, if you need to get up during a performance, please make your way to the nearest exit door into the lobby. If you need help finding a restroom or a quiet spot, gesture to an usher for assistance. If you are (or someone in your party is) experiencing a medical emergency, tell an usher so that assistance can be provided quickly.
Once you are ready to return to the concert, wait for an usher to let you in at a time that will cause minimal disturbance to the performance. For some concerts that have long, continuous passages of music, this could mean waiting patiently for a bit of time, sometimes until intermission or until the end of a piece of music.
If an usher directs you to return into a performance during a short break, you may be asked to sit in an available seat nearer to the entrance instead of your assigned seat to minimize interruption. If there is an intermission after you return, feel welcome to return to your assigned seat after intermission.

The PSO is committed to making its concerts accessible to all who wish to enjoy live music. Seating areas for patrons in wheelchairs (and their companions) are available at the PCPA. For more detailed information please visit the PCPA website.
