The Poway Symphony Orchestra invites your financial support. Donations to the Poway Symphony Orchestra may be made through the Poway Symphony Orchestra Foundation, an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax deductible.
The Poway Symphony Orchestra is an outstanding cultural asset to the communities of North County Inland. It is the only full symphonic orchestra that regularly performs major works by the great composers in the beautiful Poway Center for the Performing Arts.
In order to ensure the continued growth and success of the orchestra, financial support from the community at large is essential to cover all the operating expenses associated with these performances. Such financial support from Foundations, Businesses and individual donors will help elevate the stature of the orchestra and allow it, under the leadership of Maestro John LoPiccolo, to fulfill and enhance its mission of bringing engaging classical music to the audiences of the area as a cultural and educational benefit to all.
All funds received are used to help cover the various expenses associated with the production of the three concerts each year. Expenses include costs of music scores, fees for guest artists and additional musicians where required, various marketing and administration costs, but also the rental fees at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, our home base. The orchestra not only presents the concerts at the center, but also prefers to have the dress rehearsals there, especially when a soloist is programmed. It is likely that these rental costs will increase in the future.
Annual contribution levels are given below and all donors and sponsors and will be acknowledged for each performance season on the website and in concert programs.
